I chose Bitstrips as my learning objective tool because I believe it is a great way to engage students in the classroom. The website includes a variety of characters and scenes that can be personalized to best fit the content of the comic strip. The website is easy to use and can easily be implemented into classrooms of any subject area. Bitstrips also provides students with the opportunity to communicate their own knowledge in a creative and interactive manner.
The comic strip below explores Daily Physical Activity, a requirement of all students in Ontario elementary schools to participate in at least 20 minutes of moderate physical activity every day (physical education curriculum expectation A2.1: Participate in sustained moderate to vigorous physical activity, with
appropriate warm-up and cool down activities, to the best of their ability for
a minimum of twenty minutes each day)
